This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.

Y si tienen cualquier otra duda pueden escribirnos a This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

“100 países por Miguel Hernández” (100 Countries for Miguel Hernandez) is a project that aims to make visible the great global impact of the poet from Orihuela in the centenary of his birth.

The goal is to get 100 videos from 100 different countries in which people read, either in Spanish or their own language, if a translation exists, a poem written by Miguel Hernandez.

The videos will be posted on a Youtube channel so that they can be easily seen and shared in order to promote the participation of other possible readers.

This guide is intended to clarify and make it easy to participate in this initiative.

Taking the video

We are not expecting professional or high-quality videos, so any device capable of recording a video, be it a video camera, mobile phone or a web cam, would be enough. The duration of the video should be no longer than 5 minutes.

It is recommended to take the video in areas without much ambient noise to get a better voice quality.

To identify the origin country of the reader it is necessary to include a flag of that country as he/she reads (read the following to clarify this point).

Flags in the video

We would appreciate the inclusion of any kind of real flag while recording the video (cloth, paper, plastic…).

If that is not possible, or you do not have any, in the links below you can find flags of all countries, with different sizes and resolutions, to print them on a sheet of paper:

- Flags in Wikipedia

However, if you could not get a flag or you have recorded a video forgetting this point, we can include that digitally in the later editing of the video.

Poems

Here you can find a number of PDF files with Miguel Henandez poems in different languages. You can also find links to Google Books, where, although sometimes not complete, almost all his work in Spanish can be found. Select the one you like the most!

Sending the video

The best way to send us the video (of approximately 3 minutes) is uploading it to YouTube. You should name it as follows: Tucamon_name-of-country, and indicate on the tags field: tucamon, name-of-country, reader-name-1,-name-2 reader, reader-name-3, poem-name-1, poem-name-2, poem-name-3. To upload your video directly to Youtube you need to be a registered user. Here we leave a tutorial that explains it pretty well.

- Another option is to upload the video file or files (if we have recorded 1 per reader) to a mass storage service like Ge.tt, Dropbox, Megaupload, Rapidshare or Yousendit and send the download link generated by email to: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it This email address is being protected from spam bots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it In this case you should also indicate in the email the title, the description and the tags, so we can easily upload it to Youtube. If you find any difficulties using these services, please do not hesitate to contact us. (Ge.tt is probably the simplest way. We leave here an explanation of it.)

The option to send it as an attachment of an email is not good, since the sizes of the videos normally exceed the allowance of the service.

That's all. Thank you very much for participating and for your interest in this project. Remember that we will post all the videos in our Youtube channel and will notify you when the project is completed.
